Ayurveda means “The Science of Life” and places emphasis on righting imbalances in one’s life. Each of us has a particular combination of physical, mental, emotional, and energetic composition that makes up our constitution. When that constitution is unbalanced it presents with physical illness and mental or emotional disruptions. For example, digestive issues and physical stress are caused by imbalances. Through Ayurveda practices, you can learn to recognize these imbalances and take action to minimize or eliminate the causes and effects that you experience.
Following our circadian rhythms is at the heart of Ayurveda. The tools this practice offers can help us find whole health through the development of seasonal eating and sleep habits, daily care of our sense organs, yoga and meditation, and connecting with nature.
